The vacation has come to an end. We woke up, had breakfast and went to Bondi Beach to take a walk since we had only gone once at night. The day was glorious: sunny but not too hot and at the beach there was a wonderful breeze to keep us cool.We didn’t linger too much because we had to come back to pack and leave the apartment; they let us stay until 11:30 (normal check out was at 10) so we could go to the beach, get sandy and still have time to get cleaned up before our super long flight: not a bad way to end
the trip.Once we were packed we left our luggage at the reception and walked around town until 1 pm, when the shuttle collected us for the airport.
We had a wonderful time; Australia is a great country with very friendly people and we both want to come back: there is so much too see here that you could easily spend an entire year and still not see it all. We have our favorite places, our not so favorite, where we would go back and where we wouldn’t (more of the former for sure) but overall this has been an incredible trip. Now it’s time to go back home to the cold and work (not so excited about either) but David had a good point: we need to go back to work so we can plan our next trip
